Yikes. Has it really been 9 months since I updated this page? Well, as you can guess, it's been a busy year for me—too much stress at work led me to a new employer who leaves me with a little more free time. Bryan has been a little preoccupied as well—the last I heard from him he had just purchased an iMac. This is what he had to say:

Ummm, Gutterball is "talking" about doing a record this year (I know we've said that for the past 3 years). It all depends on Steve Wynn's availability. He is in the midst of yet another long Euro tour. I'll let you know if we actually do anything.

Well, I haven't heard anything yet, but I'll try to send him another batch of questions and get some more news about what he's been up to.

In the meantime, you can check out Magnet's new album Shark Bait, which Bryan recorded guitar parts for over a year ago. There's a cool picture of him banging on a piano with his elbow in the liner, although they mostly spell his name wrong in the notes.

I have also finally posted the album comments Bryan sent me for Cakewalk, my favorite Freaks album and one of my favorite records of all time. You can check them out by clicking here.

Sorry for the overly long absence. I will try to be better about posting things more frequently. I have at least two or three more Ask Bryan columns to post, including the one that I posted along with this update (the biggest column yet, from a long list of questions submitted by AJ Shankar, who often passes along tips about where to find Freaks stuff used on the internet). I am also preparing the notes for "Cakewalk", which Bryan sent me a couple of weeks ago. Finally, I have some scans of a setlist and a poster that were sent to me by a fan that I will also be posting soon, so keep checking back.
