| News | The title is ironically appropriate, because the Freaks are now all but invisible to the national music press, but they continue to produce gems like this album. Recording again in Richmond, their main location since All My Friends, this album also marks the return of the producer who first helped Harvey and Hott take that big first step that led to the masterpiece of Cakewalk. While not quite as strong as that record, this album still manages to include some of their best songwriting to date. In addition, the Freaks show that they haven't yet run out of ideasmany of the songs on this disc move off in strange new directions (like the serious retooling of "I'll Treat You Right Someday", which was originally a bonus CD track from their first record). The best on this disc: "My Lucky Day" (one of the best songs I've ever heard from the Freaks), "Lonely", and "Stupid Things".
